Charlie Sheen: "Rehab is not for me"

The actor is back with a new sitcom, Anger Management, and told Good Morning America that he no longer takes drugs – but he does drink.

HOLLYWOOD ACTOR CHARLIE Sheen is back on TV screens in America – and it appears his life is back on track again.

But the actor told Good Morning America that he is no longer in rehab, and though he doesn’t do drugs, he does drink.

The star had been fired from the hit TV show Two and A Half Men in 2011, over which he settled a $100m lawsuit.

Now he is back with his new show Anger Management, in whose promo advertisement he announces tongue-in-cheek, “everyone deserves their 24th chance”.

In an interview with Good Morning America, he said that the advice he would have given to himself one year ago, while exhibiting controversial behaviour, was “stop being so damn angry”.

“It’s odd to look at the clips and think ‘that was me’,” he said.

It’s a crazy character study on one level.

The actor said that he no longer does drugs, but he does drink, adding that he is not going through rehab anymore.

It’s not for me

He added that rehab is not a fit for everyone, and “it didn’t fit me”.
