A PHOTO OF cheese-flavoured Starbucks syrup has spread shockwaves through the internet–nay, the world.

What is this abomination? Butter in coffee was one thing, but cheese is a whole other batch of dairy horror.

People just couldn’t cope when a user posted the shot to Reddit. Would there be a crisp-flavoured latte?

Some weren’t so put off…

Well, we can all chill in the knowledge that it’s actually for a Strawberry cheesecake Frappuccino and will only be sold in Australia for the time being. Good. Keep it there. It looks like it could actually come alive.

A representative for Starbucks confirmed to the Huffington Post that the syrup would be used for the drink, which “combines delicious strawberry sauce with sweet, rich cream cheese flavors together with biscuit crunch for a taste of decadence in every sip”.

Still, SLIGHTLY curious as to what a nacho cappuccino would taste like.
