Chelsea Clinton hired by NBC News
CHELSEA CLINTON HAS become the second daughter of a former US president to begin working at the NBC News network.
Thirty-one-year-old Clinton has been hired to work on projects for NBC Nightly News and Brian Williams’ newsmagazine, Rock Centre.
She will also report on stories for the feel-good Making a Difference Series.
Clinton is currently studying for a doctorate at Oxford, as well as working for the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative.
Former US president George W Bush’s daughter Jenna Bush Hager also works for NBC, doing stories for the Today show.
Clinton commented on her new role:
NBC News President Steve Capus said that “given her vast experiences, it’s as though Chelsea has been preparing for this opportunity her entire life.”
