YESTERDAY, A FAN of both Star Wars and Marvel presented Mark Hamill and Chris Evans with a question they believed to be of great importance.
The question initially came from a child who was playing with both Captain America’s shield and a lightsaber. The kid asked “Can a lightsaber cut through Captain America’s shield?”
Mark Hamill stumbled across the tweet and decided to do his best to reply.
He said that in the Marvel Universe, Luke Skywalker wouldn’t stand a chance against Captain America. But in the Star Wars Universe, he could cut Captain America’s shield into a million little pieces.

Chris Evans spotted Mark’s theory, and called it ‘foolish’.

Well, that settles that.
