Chris Martin gave this Dublin man €50 when he heard how much he paid for a Coldplay ticket from a tout
EVEN THOUGH THE Coldplay gig in Croke Park was on Saturday night, Chris Martin has stuck around Dublin for a few days – even taking the time to visit Conor McGregor’s coach’s gym yesterday for a work out.
By all accounts, he’s been lovely to any fans that have stopped in for a photo around the capital, but he left his soundest gesture for his final night here.
Ballymun man Jamie Harrington told the story on Twitter last night:
“So just met chris martin from coldplay in work and he is the soundest bloke ever he Gave me €50 cause i told him how much a tout charged me”
Good man, Chris.
Jamie tells DailyEdge.ie that Chris had stopped in to watch The International Comedy Club and that’s where it happened:
€200 is a bit steep for a ticket – and many more besides paid above and beyond that – but only Jamie got a partial refund from the lead singer himself.
Sound.
