CHRIS O’DOWD is a proud Roscommon man.

He’s devoted to his native county.

And celebrates it at every available opportunity.

Earlier tonight, however, he had quite the run-in with a Roscommon-themed Twitter account.

@RoscommonHour is a Twitter account that essentially devotes one hour every week to talking about, well, Roscommon.

Ahead of its launch tonight, the people behind the account reached out to O’Dowd to remind Roscommon’s most famous son about the launch.

Unfortunately the request to “talk all things Roscommon” seems to have caught O’Dowd off guard…

People began to wonder if he had forgotten where he came from…

And tried to assist O’Dowd with his hearing…

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem O’Dowd took part in Roscommon Hour, but that’s not to say the banter wasn’t mighty…
