THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER, Christian Bale has been well-known for his radical (and potentially dangerous) body transformations for roles – like when he dropped four stone for his part in The Machinist.

His latest transformation was revealed this week when photos from the set of a new Dick Cheney biopic called Backseat – where Bale plays the former US Vice President – came out.
