FIFTY YEARS AGO, the Dublin Mountains were plagued by a shameless criminal element intent on uprooting and stealing Christmas trees.
RTÉ reporter John Ross got the lowdown on the garda anti-tree-theft operation which promised to leave no stone unturned in apprehending those involved.
