Everyone loved Christy the Dublin bus driver on Toughest Place to Be
DUBLIN BUS DRIVER Christy Carey was the subject of RTÉ’s The Toughest Place To Be series last night.

The show sees Irish people in jobs such as nursing, street sweeping, take on the job in a country where it is deemed the ‘worst place’ to do so.
Christy is a Dublin bus driver, and was sent to Kathamandu, Nepal. After fifteen years driving around the city, it the treacherous road and lack of safety measures made his job a nightmare in Nepal.
It wasn’t easy
But his character and friendliness to the locals and his host bus driver made sure that viewers loved him
