Christy Moore cancels second round of Christmas concerts due to lung infection
CHRISTY MOORE’S SECOND round of dates at Vicar Street this month have been cancelled as the singer battles illness.
His dates on 29 and 30 December with Declan Sinnott have been cancelled “due to an ongoing severe lung infection”, according to a statement from Aiken Promotions and on Moore’s own website.
Two dates which were scheduled to take place on Monday and Tuesday of this week were also cancelled and are due to be rescheduled.
Moore is also due to play the Bord Gais Energy Theatre on 16 and 17 January.
