6 things you could buy for the price of a VIP Coachella ticket

Choose wisely.

TICKETS FOR COACHELLA – seemingly the world’s most Instagrammed music festival – are due to go on sale this weekend.

Headliners this year include Beyoncé, Eminem and The Weeknd. But what do you get for the $999 price tag (€830) VIP pass?

The pass allows access into the venue, day parking lots and the three venue VIP areas. VIP Pass holders may also visit GA camping areas.

The main VIP area is located adjacent to the main stage (under white peaked tents) and consists of shaded areas, picnic tables, couches, extra restrooms, food & beverage vendors and a full cash bar.
The 2nd VIP area+ is located in the beautiful Rose Garden complete with extra seating, restrooms, specialty food & beverage vendors, full cash bars, and a spectacular view of thousands of roses.

So, flowers then. You get flowers.

The 3rd VIP area is located next to the Sahara Tent. Enjoy the shade, extra food & beverage vendors, full cash bars and additional restrooms.”

VIP Parking will set you back another $150 (€125). Loose change, sure.

To put it into perspective, DailyEdge.ie crunched the numbers to see what you’re parking-less ticket can afford you in the real world.

1. It’ll get you just under 140 servings of avocado toast from Brother Hubbard.

2. It would get you 2,075 Freddos.

Subject to ever-changing market rates, obvs.

3. You could buy 8,300 K stars on the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood app.

You can probably go to Coachella in the game as well. Best of both worlds!

4. You could buy 553 packs of the €1.50 fake nails from Penneys.

You’d never be stuck before a night out again! But, Coachella.

5. How many lattes to Coachella? On average, 277.

And that’s not with syrup or any of those frilly bits.

6. … Or 1,317 Animal Bars

Listen, nobody’s telling you what to do with your money. It’s just important to consider the impact of your financial decisions.
