Poll: Do you owe a debt of gratitude to the cobblers in your life?
LET’S TALK COBBLERS for a minute.

I know people who have never darkened the door of a cobbler or shoe repair business, and honestly, I don’t know how they’ve managed to avoid them.
For me, cobblers are a mainstay of my life and comfort levels, and I’d likely be traversing this world in shoes made from flour sacks without their skills and expertise.
As someone who has countless issues with her shoes (OK fine, her feet) I’ve enlisted the help of cobblers for as long as I can remember, and am regularly met with incredulity when I mention the various services they have to offer.
Aside from getting shoes re-heeled, I’ve also gotten the height of my heels reduced when I’ve decided four inches isn’t a necessary addition to a six-foot frame and gotten countless pairs of runners stretched and elongated when they refused to soften and spread of their own accord.
Bottom line: I owe a debt to the cobblers in my life.
But what about you? Do you ever use them?
