It's official - Coldplay are coming to Croke Park next summer
IT HAS BEEN announced that Coldplay will play a show in Croke Park on July 8th 2017.
The announcement was made via an ad placed in today’s edition of the Sunday World.
Tickets will go on sale at 9am this Friday and prices start from €69.50.
The band hinted at a show in Ireland last week when they shared the following GIF on their official Twitter account.

The show marks the band’s first gig in Ireland since they headlined Oxegen in 2011. This year, the band released their seventh album, A Head Full of Dreams, and headlined Glastonbury.
Judging by the reaction on Twitter, we reckon it’s going to be every man for himself when it comes to getting a ticket on Friday…

So far, there is only one show scheduled for Croke Park, although it remains to be seen whether any other dates will be added.
Croke Park is limited to holding three concerts per year, although no other gigs have been announced for the venue next summer.
All together now. “LIGHTS WILL GUIDE YOU HOME…”
