GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! Colin Farrell’s after getting himself another little bit of work. Delighted for him.

He’ll be starring in the live-action remake of Disney’s Dumbo, alongside Danny DeVito and Michael Keaton – and directed by Tim Burton.

According to the movie’s official synopsis, Farrell will play a former circus star called Holt Farrier who is struggling to cope following his return from war and is enlisted by circus owner Max Medici (DeVito) to look after a newborn elephant, who is given the cruel nickname Dumbo because of his oversized ears.

When Farrier’s children find out that those ears enable Dumbo to fly, it isn’t long before an entrepreneur called V.A. Vandevere (Keaton) and an aerial artist named Colette Marchant, played by Eva Green, try to turn him into a star.

Dumbo is scheduled for release in March 2019 – so we’ve a bit to wait yet, unfort.

Other live-action Disney remakes being rolled out shortly include Aladdin, which just cast its Jasmine, and The Lion King.
