The trailer for Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan and Nicole Kidman's new horror film is here and it's so creepy

Ah NOW.

FRESH FROM A role in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk this year, young Irish actor Barry Keoghan made it to Variety’s top 10 actors to watch for 2017.

The main reason for that is his next big project – starring alongside Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell in horror film The Killing of a Sacred Deer.

The Irish-backed film went down well in Cannes earlier this year, and yesterday the creepy AF official trailer was released

*shudder*

The film is out in Ireland on October 27, and tells the story of:

A prominent surgeon adopts a teenager into his family, but as the teen’s actions grow increasingly sinister, the doctor is forced to make a terrible decision.

And the trailer does a good job of conveying that sinister vibe.

The first thing you notice is the daughter of the family singing Ellie Goulding’s Burn in that eerie accapella style

Interspersed with shots of Barry looking ominous

Those are the sinister actions we spoke about earlier on the way, no doubt.

Colin Farrell looks rattled throughout

“How did his father die?”

We’re going to say “happily” here, Nicole

Then it cuts to the daughter CRAWLING INTO THE BASEMENT

He’s gone from killing cats on Love/Hate to scaring the sh*t out of Hollywood audiences just by eating spaghetti

What a year it’s turned out to be for Barry Keoghan.

Here’s another clip of Farrell and Keoghan on screen together to whet the appetite
