This British inventor wants to 'fart' at France with a giant mechanical arse
THE GREAT INVENTIONS: the wheel, the telephone, the computer, a fart noise so loud it can be heard in France.
Yes, you heard us correctly.
Colin Furze is a British inventor and YouTube personality – he previously created his own retractable Wolverine claws in his shed-cum-workshop.
After viewers commented that he must be a very noisy neighbour, he decided to make something so noisy that people in the next country, France, could hear it.
This invention? A giant pulsejet, which when running sounds like a very loud fart, and a 16ft mechanical arse to contain it.

This evening at 6pm, Furze will attempt to make a massive fart noise from the Cliffs of Dover than can be heard 21 miles across the sea in France.
