Colour-coded: Fishtail frocks at the Emmys

Anything goes on the TV awards red carpet – as long as it has a fishtail skirt and a one-shoulder detail, apparently.

OBVIOUSLY WE HERE at TheJournal.ie agonise over our sartorial choices before we so much as step out to the local shop of a morning.

So, ever keen to take tips from those with professional stylists on staff, we tuned into last night’s Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles to catch the frock action. Take note ladies: this season you will be mostly wearing a fishtail skirt, in red, black, purple or nude, with a one-shoulder bodice. We’re not sure who half of these actors are – but most of them are clearly sharing a personal shopper…
