The convent is located in the centre of Ballinamore, overlooking the Shannon-Erne Waterway and was built in the 1800s.

It contains a hallway, a former chapel, six reception rooms, a kitchen, utility, pantry, store, laundry room, three bathrooms, and 20 bedrooms.
