A Coppers Gold Card was being sold online last night for a whopping €500

But it was swiftly withdrawn.

WE’VE WORKED OUT before that a Coppers Gold Card could be worth anything up to €1100 when used to its full effect.

So it was hardly a surprise to see one go up on Adverts.ie last night for a steep €500. The ad explained:

“My days of Coppers are now over so selling this beauty”

Spotted over on Broadsheet.ie, the ad gave the coveted card the big sell:

It lets you skip the queue and gets you AND a friend in free so saving you €20.00 EVERY visit.

The posting has since been withdrawn from Adverts though, perhaps because the full card number was visible in the picture.

Let’s hope it finds its way to a good home eventually.
