Busker Allie is just 12 years old, hails from Cork, and has already appeared on talk shows in Ireland after she went super viral with a video of herself busking on Grafton Street.
Her father Mark told the Evening Echo that she turned down the request to appear on the show last year because she wanted to enjoy her music without any pressure.
But the Ellen show seems to have persisted, and Allie appeared today to perform and have a chat.
Allie performed a Million Years Ago by Adele and even got a standing ovation.
They loved her!
Ellen said people call her ‘the next Adele’ and asked her about singing on the streets of Dublin.
She began performing three years ago and says she begged her dad to let her hit the streets to sing.
Ellen was curious how people walked by her in Dublin without stopping.
Allie also revealed that she’s been working with Ryan Tedder from One Republic and Charlie Puth on her music over in LA
She’s going places.
Allie was even surprised with a massive busking case to attract more attention. Will we be seeing this around Dublin any time soon?
