A band in Cork helped this guy out with his very romantic proposal
CARRIGALINE MAN KEITH Stanton was planning to propose to his girlfriend Liz over the weekend.
So to make the occasion even more special, he got in touch with local singer Pat Fitz to see if he could help him out.
So Pat brought along his whole band along
Liz was over at her friend’s house when Keith gathered the band together in their kitchen. He needed a way to get her back to the house without arising suspicion about the proposal. So he went with:
“There’s smoke coming out of the fuse box”

That’ll work.
As Pat told DailyEdge.ie, Liz is a big fan of the band and Keith knew that getting them to play in the background would make things that but more romantic:
Pat was nervous waiting for her to come home

The candles were out

She came in the door expecting the house to be half on fire

But soon realised when she saw the band and the candles that something much better was taking place

She said yes with the lads playing in the other corner of the kitchen

Fair play to the lads for stepping in – it certainly beats Spotify on the speakers for a romantic backdrop
