This dad got a tattoo of his son's cancer surgery scar to help him feel better about it
THIS STORY ABOUT a devoted dad might just bring a tear to your eye.

Eight-year-old Gabriel Marshall was diagnosed with a rare malignant brain tumour last year, and had surgery to treat it.
His dad Josh Marshall told Buzzfeed that although Gabriel is doing much better now, he dislikes the large scar left on his head by his surgery, saying it makes him feel like a ‘monster’.
To help his son feel better about his scar, Josh got a tattoo of it on his own head:

Josh later won a children’s cancer charity’s #BestBaldDad competion, which takes submissions from dads who have shaved their heads in honour of a child with cancer.
After he won, his picture went viral across Facebook and Instagram, where it was liked and shared hundreds and thousands of times.
As for Gabriel? He says he loves his dad’s tattoo, as it makes them ‘twins’. Adorable.
