IN THE HOURS that followed Dale Winton’s death yesterday, messages of condolence flooded social media platforms, with his peers in the entertainment industry leading the heartfelt tributes.
62-year-old Dale, who fronted Supermarket Sweep and In It To Win It, spent 30 years in broadcasting, and was considered one of the best-known faces in English television throughout the 90s and noughties.
Confirming his passing with the Press Association, his agent, Jan Kennedy, asked the press and public to respect the wishes of his family at this time.
