A few weeks ago, Daniel O’Donnell posted this photo of himself holding a tin of smoked mackerel fillets and wrote, “Not that I’m much of a chef but had this for my lunch today mixed with mayonnaise and red pesto and it was gorgeous.”
When they’re not complimenting Daniel on his lunch skills, they’re complimenting himself and Majella on being a lovely couple.
Unlike fans of Justin Bieber or One Direction who have been known to get jealous from time to time, Daniel O’Donnell’s fans only wish the best for him and won’t hear a bad word against Majella.

SOMETIMES YOU READ the internet and get so overwhelmed by the sheer negativity of trolls and the like that it makes you despair for humanity.
But there’s one place on the internet that is almost completely devoid of trolls and filled to the brim with positivity.
I am, of course, talking about Daniel O’Donnell’s official Facebook page.
Daniel O’Donnell has over 78,000 likes on Facebook. But despite the high volume of likes, he is seemingly subject to almost no trolling.
Instead every post attracts hundreds of comments from fans either wishing him well, complimenting his appearance or reminiscing about previous interactions with him.
Unlike most corners of the internet, Daniel O’Donnell’s Facebook page is a negativity-free zone.
Nothing but declarations of love and people saying hello from all around the world.
Sometimes they just tell him about their day.
Sometimes they chat about Strictly Come Dancing with him.
They worry about how busy he is and wonder how he does it all.
They’re always there with a word of encouragement.
As well as to keep him up to date with the weather.
