THAT Daniel O'Donnell megafan from the Late Late finally got to meet the real deal

BACK IN FEBRUARY, THE Late Late Show aired its annual Valentine’s Day matchmaking special.

While there were many standout moments, one girl in particular stole the show after Ryan Tubridy announced that Daniel O’Donnell was in the house.

She quickly realised it was not in fact Daniel O’Donnell, but Mario Rosenstock dressed up as Daniel O’Donnell. Her reaction was GOLD:

It soon emerged that the woman in question was Molly Kate Sloyan from Kinsale – Wee Daniel felt bad about her being duped, and invited her to one of his gigs at the INEC Killarney.

Today was finally the happy day – Molly Kate flew from Spain especially to attend the show and meet the D O’D beforehand. And she was DELIGHTED:
