BECAUSE WE LIVE in 2018, there’s nothing particularly strange about seeing Danny Dyer, Jeremy Corbyn and Pamela Anderson on a panel alongside Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan to discuss politics, football and Love Island.
In any other year in earth’s history, this would probably be one of the most bizarre scenarios you could imagine, but right now, it’s just casually happening.
And it went down pretty well with viewers.
The standout moment was definitely when Danny Dyer decided to express his views on Brexit and David Cameron. The 40-year-old actor began:
Who knows about Brexit? No one’s got a f**king clue what Brexit is. Yeah? You watch Question Time – it’s comedy.
Susanna asked if it would help if Jeremy Corbyn explained it, and Danny said “No! No one’s got a clue what it is! It’s like this mad riddle!” Then he launched a pretty entertaining attack on David Cameron.
So, what’s happened to that twat David Cameron who pulled it off? Let’s be fair, how come he can scuttle off? He called this on, yeah? Where is he? He’s in Europe, in Nice with his trotters up, yeah? Where is the geezer?

I think he should be held accountable for it, twat!

Then, the conversation turned to Love Island.
To avoid being torn apart like David Cameron, Piers Morgan decided to try and cover himself for some of his previous comments about Love Island contestants.
You may have been, um, led to believe from social media that I’ve spent the last three weeks calling every contestant on Love Island a bunch of brain-dead zombies. I’d like to add that obviously that doesn’t include anyone in the villa who’s called Dani Dyer.
Piers continued by saying it was a terrible misunderstanding, and that he believes Dani is a “shining oasis of intelligence, and beauty, and grace.” Danny’s response?
Yeah, just stop talking, Piers.

You’re just talking, just talking, rambling on. Just calm down. Stop getting so emotional.
Danny then added that he’s certain his daughter will win Love Island.
Yeah, me daughter’s on Love Island, Piers. It’s a nutty thing.

I didn’t want her to do it, I’d never seen it before but you fear as a father. Listen, it is what it is. It’s a game show. 50 grand is at stake. It’s a lot of dough and Dani’s going to win it!
