Dapper Laughs is back - 'Comedian' resurrects character in Christmas video

No, really.

LAST MONTH DANNY O’Reilly, the man behind the controversial comedy character Dapper Laughs, said that he was putting his alter ego to bed.

His decision came after a massive backlash against his material – a video emerged in which he told an audience member during a stand up show that she was ‘gagging for a rape’.

O’Reilly, who had landed his own ITV2 dating show after his vines and videos advising men on how to pick up women became hugely popular, appeared on Newsnight and apologised for any offence he had caused. He cancelled all dates on his UK tour and said he was retiring the character.

Yesterday though, he posted a video to YouTube which indicates that 2015 may see a return.

The video sees ‘God’ talking to Dapper Laughs, saying he’s needed on earth. The video pokes fun at O’Reilly’s appearance on Newsnight and sees Dapper (chillingly) state that:

My work down here ain’t finished.

Oh goody.
