Dark Knight Rises: Fans' reactions from first Irish screenings
BATMAN: THE DARK Knight Rises opened in Irish cinemas today, with hundreds of fans queueing to be the first to see the new blockbuster.
Several cinemas ran early-morning screenings so audiences could see the film before going to work.
The Lighthouse Cinema in Dublin’s Smithfield – which also changed its Twitter handle for the occasion - said that roughly 600 people packed out its 5am showings of the final film in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy.
The screening was timed to coincide with the first midnight showing in New York.
So was it worth the early start? Here’s what people thought:

So that seems pretty conclusive.
Plus as a special bonus: what did Donald Trump think of it?
