FOOTBALL SUPERSTAR DAVID Beckham was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles yesterday morning but was unharmed whilst the driver in the other car had to be taken to hospital.
The website TMZ is reporting the story saying that Beckham rear-ended a gold Mitsubishi that was broken down in the carpool lane on the 405 Freeway in LA, one of the busiest roads in the city.
The driver of the Mitsubishi had to be taken to the hospital but Beckham did not require medical attention nor was he arrested or cited on the scene.
The former England captain is currently plying his trade at the Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy having previously enjoyed an illustrious career with Manchester United and Real Madrid.
