IN THE DAYS after David Bowie’s death, fans flocked to leave tributes around a mural of the legendary musician in Brixton, London.
Earlier this week, a similar mural popped up in Sheffield – and it’s been getting a lot of attention since BBC Sheffield posted it on social media.
The people of the town are not particularly happy with this depiction of Bowie, saying it looks more like TV presenter Pat Sharp (who actually posed beside it like a champ):

Trik09, the artist behind the mural, has spoken out about the ‘haters’, telling BBC Radio Sheffield that he’s actually rather chuffed with the negative attention.
It’s funny, I bust my ass trying to do stuff – I do something people don’t like and it’s going bigger than before, than I could have even imagined. Thank you all the haters! Thank you, I love you.
