This comedian is under fire for calling Kylie and Kendall Jenner 'vapid c**ts'

Hmm.

IF YOU’VE BEEN on Twitter over the last few days, you might have seen this tweet going around.

Essentially a Twitter user @negansvoid shared a photo of Kylie and Kendall Jenner and asked, “Name a more iconic duo… I’ll wait.”

The replies came in thick and fast, most of them taking the absolute piss.

Naturally the tweet brought a lot of “Kardashians/Jenners are everything that’s wrong with the world!” haters out of the woodwork.

Among those to complain about the tweet? David Cross. You may remember him as Tobias Funke in Arrested Development.

Last night, Cross tweeted, “Do they have to be shallow, vapid c**ts or can they be like, scientists or artists or activists or something like that?”

David Cross later clarified that he meant the c-word “in the British sense”. (The word is widely deemed less offensive in the UK than it is in the US. Cross, however, is American.)

The tweet didn’t go down so well with many criticising the 52-year-old for lobbing such an offensive, gendered term at a 20-year-old and a 19-year-old in the first place.

While others pointed out that Cross’ career wasn’t exactly covered in glory either.

Seriously, though. Calling Kylie and Kendall Jenner “c**ts” doesn’t make you edgy or superior

Note to 52-year-old men: “The Kardashians are bad” is right up there with “Food is good” as just about the mildest take you can have. If you are going to critique it, you’re going to have to come up with something better than “They’re c**ts!”

Even if you mean it in the British sense.
