Comedian David O'Doherty engages in epic slagging battle on Twitter

IRISH COMEDIAN AND known beard-wearer and pun slinger David O’Doherty has become embroiled in one of the great Twitter wars of 2015.

It started off fairly sedately with an observation by TV presenter Richard Osman about a particularly scintillating episode of deal or no deal, and spiralled from there.

O’Doherty countered with:
