The struggle is real.

IT’S DECEMBER 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It’s a day of many tradtions. Putting up the tree, and for country folk–travelling up to the big schmoke for the annual big Christmas shop.

But is that still a thing?

Technically, no. The traditional Farmer’s shopping day is dwindling, in part blamed for Sunday trading and a drop off in schools closing up on the Monday for the religious feast.

But try telling that to a crowd of angry culchies.
