Dogs are now taking 'delfies' to raise money for an Irish charity*

*OK, their owners are. Whatever.

TWO WEEKS AGO, the #nomakeupselfie phenomenon swept the country.

It left many irritated people in its wake – but raised more than €1million for the Irish Cancer Society.

Dogs are now joining the fray. Pets around the country are taking #delfies – that’s dog selfies, obviously – to raise money for Irish Guide Dogs.

It all started last week with this shot

Some dogs were happier about it than others

Some are definitely using the pic for their Myspace profile

Some are just way too good at it

But others think the whole #delfie thing is pretty much overrated.

To donate €2.50 to Irish Guide Dogs, text WOOF to 57500.
