This not a drill — Deliveroo is now doing booze deliveries

For when you’re just not in the mood to go to the off-licence.

EVER DREAMT OF having booze delivered straight to your door?

Well, friends, Deliveroo is making that dream a reality.

Over the weekend, the delivery service added two bars andoff-licences to its roster, Galway Bay Brewery (The Beer Market) and Baggot Street Wines.

Galway Bay Brewery will deliver four-packs of beer to your gaff for €15.

Provided you live in Dublin 1, Dublin 2, Dublin 7 or Dublin 8, that is.

Meanwhile, Baggot Street Wines has an extensive offering of red wines, white wines, craft beers, prosecco and cider available for delivery.

From what we can tell, they will deliver to Dublin 1, Dublin 2, Dublin 4, Dublin 6 and Dublin 8.

Game changer? We think so.

Expect a lot of orders over the weekend, lads. (Just make sure you have your ID handy — they’ll be checking if you happen to look under 21.)
