In her candid new documentary Simply Complicated, popstar Demi Lovato opens up about a number of very serious topics from her drug addiction to embracing her sexuality.
The singer explained that her struggles with addiction began when she was seventeen.
My first time doing coke, I was 17 working on Disney Channel, and I was with a couple of friends and they introduced me to it. I was scared because my mom always told me that your heart could just burst if you do it. But I did it anyways, and I loved it.
She also added that she felt “out of control with the coke” the first time that she did it. Lovato also revealed that her estranged father also found intense fulfilment from drugs and alcohol and it negatively impacted his ability to raise a family.
The documentary also discusses Lovato’s troubles with body image, her ongoing eating disorder, her diagnosis with Bipolar Disorder when she was 19 and being severely bullied as a child at school.
On a more positive note, Simply Complicated reveals that Demi is comfortable with her bisexuality, explaining that gender isn’t going to get in the way of her finding love and a ‘human connection’. (Us Weekly)

It feels like Katie Price and Chris Hughes have been fighting for months now, however the drama began just last month when Chris claimed he had been dodging flirty texts from Katie Price after meeting her on the ITV chatshow Loose Women.

At the time, he told OK! Magazine that he had shown the text messages to his girlfriend Olivia Attwood, to prove that he had not been replying. Hughes said at first he had thought “her being flirty was a bit of banter” but later thought that the content of the messages went beyond a joke.
Katie denied flirting with him after meeting him once on TV, to which he replied “Okay sweetheart. Being pied shouldn’t make you bitter”, alongside screenshots of him ignoring her texts.
Almost a month later, this is still going on and today Katie revealed that she had 52 screenshots of Snapchat messages sent between her and Chris. Katie refuses to leak the screenshots, but has reportedly shown them to journalists to back herself up. In these text messages, Hughes allegedly brands his girlfriend Olivia as “fame-hungry.”
Chris was simply fuming and launched a tirade on Twitter calling Katie “a piece of rotten shit”. (Digital Spy)
Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he’ll be cancelling dates on his tour of Asia after he injured his arm in a bike accident earlier this week.
The singer shared a photograph of his cast to Instagram, informing fans of the damage that had been done. His tour beginning on the 22nd of October is off the cards following the accident.
A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future. Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong. I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that.
