TV psychic Derek Acorah quashes fake reports of his death
Jonathan Short Jonathan Short
DEREK ACORAH IS a TV psychic and medium, best known for his fine work presenting Living TV’s Most Haunted programme.
He has just been forced to clarify that he is not dead.
On Sunday, this not-at-all-funny Sky News parody account tweeted that Acorah had been stabbed to death:
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
It was retweeted dozens of times, and more people shared the news elsewhere.
There were the usual jokes.

It even made it as far as local radio, according to this guy.

So a few people were surprised when Acorah tweeted this afternoon.
His wife Gwen issued this rather excellent communiqué.
And finally, Derek confirmed his living status on Facebook.
He offered “a huge thank you to everybody who wished me well following the bogus report of my sudden demise.”
