FORMER RTÉ PRESENTER Derek Davis has passed away at the age of 67.

His death was confirmed by RTÉ this afternoon.
Back in 1985, Davis worked at the helm of RTÉ’s Live Aid coverage, encouraging viewers to donate cash and bridging the feed from the live concerts taking place in London and Philadelphia.
He did it all while pulling off a marvellous gold jacket.
