DERMOT BANNON HAS sold his Dublin home for a tidy lil’ profit this week. Well for some, isn’t it?
(There’s a photo of Dermo closing the deal now.)
The Room to Improve star put his family home on the market earlier this year with a price tag of €649,000.
While selling auctioneer DNG did not confirm how much money the house had finally gone for, according to the Daily Mail, the final bid was significantly over the asking price.
The three-bedroom terraced house sits on Bantry Road in Drumconda, Dublin 9 and contains some original features from the 1920s with a modern twist.
Fancy a peek inside? Of course you do!
A lot of light coming in for sure, but there’s a severe lack of exposed concrete feature walls, don’t you think?
Dermo’s reason for the sale? He’s upsizing, obvs – the popular TV architect is said to double the size of his new home that he plans to renovate himself.
DNG’s Brian Dempsey said that Dermot has found his “dream home” nearby his current home up for sale in Drumcondra. Keepin’ it local!
His dream now is to take on something you see every Sunday night – what he does for everyone one else on [Room to Improve], he’s now about to embark on for himself. It should be tremendously interesting.”
Indeed – soooooo any chance of us ever seeing it on air? Please? Winter is coming, after all …
