Irish musician Dermot Kennedy made a brilliant debut on the Ellen Show yesterday

Like putty in his hand.

DERMOT KENNEDY SURE is flying the flag for Ireland at the moment.

From booking a slot on the Coachella lineup, to performing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he’s certainly a rising star.

The Dublin singer-songwriter was only chuffed to be asked on the Ellen Show earlier this month, and his time to perform finally came yesterday.

Ellen gave him a suited introduction:

I was blown when I heard the next singer-songwriter’s voice. He’s from Dublin, Ireland. His music has been streamed more than three hundred million times.

Performing his hit song, Power Over Me, he certainly proved he’s a talent.

American audiences loved him.

After he performs at Coachella in April, he’ll be making his way home for four sold-out shows at The Olympia in May.

Do we have another Hozier-level star on our hands? We think so.
