Des Cahill's emotional goodbye was a lovely moment on Dancing With The Stars

HE’S ENTERTAINED THE masses and defied all expectations.

But last night, sadly, Dancing Dessie jigged his last reel on the Dancing With The Stars – and he and his partner Karen Byrne were voted off the show by the judges following the dance off.

Amanda and Nicky chatted to the pair of them straight after the decision, and emotions were running high

He started off on a positive note:

There wasn’t one bad day or one bad moment.

Des started into a long list of thank yous, and couldn’t hold back the tears any more

“I’d like to thank my family as well – like the other dancers I haven’t been at home at all. I’m really grateful to my family… and to Karen… I can’t say any more”

For everyone who had followed their journey, it was a tough one to watch
