It’s all getting a little bit ‘Wicker Man’ in Dingle.

WREN DAY CELEBRATIONS are in full swing in towns and villages around the country (in the areas that mark it anyway, it’s hardly a widespread thing).

By the looks of it, people haven’t been letting the brutal weather dampen their spirits.

It all got a little bit Wicker Man-esque in Dingle earlier this afternoon, as the straw-boys took to the streets…

Over in Dublin, the traditional Wren Day event in Sandymount was a bit of a washout.

But it looks like the tradition is still being kept alive, indoors…
