WREN DAY CELEBRATIONS are in full swing in towns and villages around the country (in the areas that mark it anyway, it’s hardly a widespread thing).
By the looks of it, people haven’t been letting the brutal weather dampen their spirits.

While, elsewhere in the Co Kerry town, these participants took a less-than-traditional approach to the day’s events…
