A survey carried out on behalf of a US underwear company has found that the words moist, squirt, panties, chunky, curd and flap are the ones that women find the most uncomfortable.

Many of the 500 women who answered the Knix Wear survey identified factors such as societal connotations, sexual undertones or even the way the words roll off your tongue as potential reasons why they can’t quite cope with the likes of ‘curd’.
