The obituary in the Richmond Times Dispatch of Mary Anne Alfriend began:

Faced with the prospect of voting for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, Mary Anne Noland of Richmond chose, instead, to pass into the eternal love of God on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at the age of 68.

The author was one of Mary’s son’s, who wrote it all in good humour, according to NBC12.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, 3 sons, and 10 grandchildren. Her full obituary can be seen here.
