CAMPING IS NOT for everyone.
That’s a fact that many of us don’t find out until it’s too late. Usually it’s a day or two into a festival, when you find out that some people aren’t there to get a solid eight hours of sleep, or mind their own business, or stick to their six-step skincare routine. It could be you, or it could be a friend. We all know somebody who can’t hack sleeping in a tent.
On this year’s The Bigger Red Nose Climb, Dani Dyer summed up exactly how those who hate camping feel by the time the sun starts to rise after their first night in the wilderness.
I will never camp again. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever will I camp again. It isn’t fun. I don’t know why people do it at festivals. I don’t get that. Like, I feel… I haven’t washed. I’m using wipes! I’m using wipes! And a little bowl of water to wash my face!
God love her. Seriously.
