Did you know that the voice of the Luas also presented the Eurovision Song Contest?
IT WAS THE tidbit that shook us all to our very core.

WHAT? Could it be?
Are these the dulcet tones of Eurovision presenter Doireann Ní Bhriain? (Listen from 3.00)
According to her AIRPI profile, that’s absolutely a truth.
Doireann is an independent radio producer and an RTÉ veteran, having worked there for 20 years up until 1993. She succeeded Marian Finucane as the presenter of current affairs programme Women Today. She took a week’s break in 1981 to present the Song Contest in Dublin and also provided commentary for the 1991 Contest on RTÉ Radio.
