Donald Glover surprised a load of high school students at their graduation because he's a legend

Very standard school concert.

THAT’S SOME SCHOOL concert.

Chance the Rapper decided to pull in a favour from an old friend at his and Malcolm London’s OpenMike Chicago event this week.

Donald Glover – or his alter ego Childish Gambino – performed the politically-charged single ’This Is America’ for some seriously surprised senior students.

Meanwhile, what did we get? The school choir singing Kodaline’s ‘High Hopes’. Yeah, seems fair.

This isn’t the firsttime something like this has happened, mind. Open Mike Chicago was started by a group of friends over three years ago following the death of Chicago poet Mike Hawkins.

Chance regularly gets his pals to join him on stage for the benefit of the Chicago kids. Kanye even called in a couple of years ago.

Imagine walking into your school library and Kanye being there? Not the maddest thing he’s done in recent weeks, I suppose.
