THE ART COLLECTIVE behind the beloved Stormzy mural in Smithfield are hitting back at its removal.
After staging their own mini protest on the original mural, they’ve now hit back at Dublin City Counil, with brand new artwork attacking the council’s attitude towards graffiti.
And who else to get that point across other than President Donald Trump?
Subset told DailyEdge.ie that the new mural is located around the corner from Andrew’s Lane Theatre.
Dublin City Council issued them with a warning to take down the Stormzy mural and another work in Rathmines because of a lack of planning permission.
We’re attempting to transform what is a negative situation for us, and those who like our artwork, into a catalyst for cultural, social and political change. Here’s hoping.”
Let’s see how long this one stays up.
