Donald Trump has attacked Jimmy Fallon over the hair-tousling incident ...it's The Dredge

Kick off the heatwave with some refreshing celeb dirt.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon - Season 3 NBC NBC

Jimmy Fallon recently expressed that he regrets tousling Donald Trump’s hair back in 2016.

The TV chat-show host gave an interview for The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, where he spoke of the incident.

I did not do it to ‘normalise’ him or to say I believe in his political beliefs or any of that stuff. It just got bigger and out of control. I saw other comedians from other shows making fun of me on Twitter.
I’m sorry. I don’t want to make anyone angry – I never do and I never will. It’s all in the fun of the show. I made a mistake. I’m sorry if I made anyone mad. And, looking back, I would do it differently.

So naturally, Donald Trump responded on Twitter, urging “whimpering” Jimmy Fallon to “be a man!”

Jimmy Fallon responded by tweeting that he’ll be making a donation to immigration legal service group RAICES.

Eyal Booker’s brother has told ITV’s Lorraine how he feels about watching Eyal and Megan have sex on Love Island.

Understandably, he’s not feeling great. And neither are his parents! Tal Booker began by chatting about how he thinks his brother is coming across on telly.

I think he’s very much being himself. You’re always gonna get people that don’t like someone, but I’m very proud of the way he’s carried himself and the way he has treated everyone. I think he’s doing a good job.

If you haven’t heard Tal speaking yet, it’s worth checking out. He has the exact same voice as Eyal. Lorraine asked how the parents are feeling about all of this, “especially as it gets to the stage where… things start happening.” Tal told her:

Before he went in, it was something we all discussed and kind of came to terms with beforehand, so it doesn’t come as a huge shock. Obviously it’s difficult in some aspects for my parents to see.

Evangeline Lilly just shut down male actors whining about the costumes they have to wear in Marvel superhero movies.

In a recent interview promoting Ant-Man and The Wasp, 38-year-old actress Evangeline Lilly had a lot to say about movie costumes.

I’m hearing Marvel male superheroes complain about their suits, for years. And I got into my suit and I was wearing it, working in it, doing my thing and I was like… It’s just not that bad. Do I have the most comfortable suit in the Marvel Comic Universe?

And then it clicked.

Have men not had the life experience of being uncomfortable for the sake of looking good? They’re just like “What is this? This sucks. Why do we have to go through this?

She then grabs her high-heeled foot and holds it up to the camera as an example.

Evangeline then said that when it happens to a woman in Hollywood, they’re like “I don’t know, it’s normal, I wear heels to work I’m uncomfortable all day. You get used to it, you tune it out.” Once Evangeline’s rant was finished up, the interview took a deep breath and said “I love you. You’re awesome.”
