Irish Twitter reacted hilariously to Donald Trump's arrival

Hilariously bitterly, that is.

DONALD TRUMP TOUCHED down in Ireland today, landing his private jet at Shannon Airport ahead of a visit to the Doonbeg golf resort.

He says he will bring “hundreds of jobs” to Co Clare over the next few years after purchasing the resort for a reported €15million in February.

Irish Twitter, however, reacted with hilarious bitterness.

Some appealed to higher authorities.

Some were troubled by Trump’s natural colouring.

While others were concerned about his business decisions.

Or his open, giving personality.

Some misinterpreted the rapturous red-carpet reception at Shannon.

While others merely spoke their feelings.

And finally, some were admirably honest.
